Maryland Public TV http://www.mpt.org/ is dropping movie format on Doctor Who stories effective August 9th. Instead of one complete story a week, MPT will air 2 25 minute episodes. Maryland Public TV has aired Doctor Who as movies since picking up the series in 1995, with brief experiments with episode format in 1998 and 2000. This move will leave KERA Dallas as the only Doctor Who affiliate in the US currently using the movie versions of the stories. UK Gold airs its own movie compilations in the UK. see note) |

Maryland Public TV and New Hampshire Public TV nhptv.org/">http://www.nhptv.org/ are both going to bypass the {p{SylvesterMcCoy era this time around. Maryland Public TV will go from the conclusion of Trial Of A Time Lord on August 2nd to An Unearthly Child on August 9th (when the episode format begins). New Hampshire Public TV is going from Time and the Rani to Robot due to Tom Baker's greater popularity. Robot will begin on July 19th. New Hampshire Public TV has also gone from 2 episodes a week to 1 episode a week as a result of budget shortages. see MPT note) |

WCNY 24/W59AU Syracuse/Utica, NY http://www.wcny.org/ seems to have episodes from different Doctor Who stories and at least 2 different Doctors listed for this month. |

KBDI-DT 38 Denver, CO is now on the air according to the FCC, though other trackers of digital stations do not list it as on the air yet. There is no information on KBDI's website yet about whether they will simulcast the analog lineup on the digital channel. |

USA - The Sci-Fi Channel http://www.scifi.com/ has scheduled the 1996 Doctor Who movie to air Friday August 22nd at 2PM Eastern/Pacific as part of a weeklong set of daytime movies. |

South Africa - The SA Sci-Fi Channel http://www.uk.scifi.com/ also has the Doctor Who movie in August - Thursday 7 August at 8PM, Friday 8 August at 5:25PM. |
